How to apply for CH Muhammedkoya Scholarship

Are you struggling to complete your graduation / Post Graduation due to financial problems, here is the notification of C.H MuhammedKoya Scholarship for financially backward students. C.H MuhammedKoya Scholarship 2020 - 21 registration will be started soon. This Scholarship is organized by Minority Welfare Department, Government of Kerala. Eligibility for CH Muhammed koya Scholarship

  • Should belong to MUSLIM , Latin, Converted Christian community and should be a native of Kerala.
  • Should be a GIRL student studying for the first year of Graduation or Higher courses in Govt./ Aided Institution.
  • students who got admission to Self financing colleges from merit seat are also eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Should have scored 50% or above in the qualifying Examination.
  • Family Annual income should not exceed 4.50 Lakhs.
  • Those who apply for Hostel stipend should be staying in recognized hostels.

Rate and Number of Scholarships

  • Under Graduates: Rs. 4,000/- per annum (3,000 Nos).
  • Post Graduates: Rs. 5,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
  • Professional Courses: Rs. 6,000/- per annum (1,000 Nos).
  • Hostel Stipend: Rs. 12,000/- per annum (2,000 Nos).
  • Those who are eligible for hostel stipend will not be eligible for scholarship

How to apply for CH Muhammed koya Scholarship

The application for CH Muhammedkoya Scholarship should be submitted online only. Please follow the steps to apply for this scholarship
  • Click on www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in
  • Click on "Scholarships", then select "C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship(CHMS)"
  • click on Apply online
  • If you are new click on "New Registration" otherwise login with your Registration ID, date of birth and Password.
  • Fill all details including address, admission no and date of admission, marks of eligibility examinations, bank details, family income details, etc. then click on "submit"
  • Take the print after the submission of application by clicking on "View / Print application"
  • Submit the registration print out by pasting your photograph to the head of the institution along with attested copy of SSLC Mark list, attested copy of bank pass book, copy of Aadhaar Card, attested copy of Nativity Certificate, attested copy of mark list of qualifying examination, Copy of Community / Minority Certificate, Income Certificate, Government allotment memo (students studying at self financing colleges), Inmate certificate (hostlers only)
